Zachuriah John Knapp, 49, of Vero Beach Florida, died unexpectedly Wednesday June 8, 2022.

Zach was born in Ravenna, Ohio to Vickie and David Knapp.  He graduated from Palm Bay High School and was a Veteran of the United States Navy.  Following his military career, Zach was a successful yacht engineer and achieved his Captain's License.  He enjoyed many years of his life at sea.

Though predeceased by his parents and sister, Monica Knapp, Zach is survived by his youngest sister and brother-in-law Megon and Jesse Workman of West Melbourne, FL; his brother and sister-in-law Ricky and Nicol Matakonis of Palm Bay, FL; five nieces - Taylor, Chloe, Rain, River and Clover; and one nephew Archer.  He leaves behind many friends from his PBHS Pirate Family and those he served with in both his military and civilian careers.

A celebration of life will be held on a future date that can accommodate all who wish to attend.  The loss of Zachuriah is immeasurable and to know him was to love him.  Please reach out to his sister, Megon, for information on upcoming events to celebrate the honor and privilege of Zachuriah's friendship.
