Our Beloved Zachary Aaron Castellano, 35, of Melbourne FL, passed unexpectedly and peacefully August 1, 2024.

Zac was born to Alexander and Margaret Castellano on May 20, 1989, in Stamford Connecticut. He was an alumnus of Eau Gallie High School, graduating May of 2007 and followed his fathers' footsteps, becoming an auto mechanic. Although he hated the heat of the garage, he loved fixing things!

Zac found immense happiness and true love with his family, Sarah Hawk and Bruce Dunn, leaping heart first into being a family man and a "sidekick" dad. Family time was spent making memories at various theme parks or festivals, laughing and being super silly.

He had a tremendous love for animals, especially cats, volunteering and fostering many with Sarah through Hope of Brevard. It was important to him they were safe, fed and especially loved.

In his down time, he enjoyed playing his favorite video game Final Fantasy and Dungeon & Dragons with his group of buddies as well as his brothers and nephew. He loved watching movies and recommending great rom-coms!

Zac was a fierce friend and was always available to anyone who wanted to talk or just needed a shoulder, his friends meant everything to him next to his family. He was never found without his hat or without a wise-ass joke and inappropriate comment. Family dinners always included many jokes, one-liners, new "dad jokes" and other insane silliness…all of this was Zac approved and encouraged.

Zac is survived by his parents, Alexander & Margaret Castellano, his brothers Alexander Jr of Melbourne, Jeffery Tomas of Colchester CT & Nicolas Dimitri and his sister Sydney Nicole, also of Melbourne. He is also survived by his nephew Marcus Costa-Castellano and niece Kendall Castellano; and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

A visitation will be held at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. The Celebration of Life will start at 2:00pm. Please come share your Zac stories and memories…they are all welcome and needed. We all know he would want that!
