Eau Gallie

Willie Jones, 74, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Tuesday morning, March 5th, 2013. Born on August 19, 1938 in Colquitt County, GA, Willie was the child of the late Samuel and Clarice Potts - Jones. He retired from Bell South after 34 years of service. Willie treasured the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, participating in youth sports as a coach and umpire for Eau Gallie little league and city football teams. He was a long time member of the Eau Gallie First Baptist Church and proudly served on the Brevard County Planning & Development Board of Adjustment. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Olivia; children, Clifton Jones, Dave Jones and Cindy Mugge; sister, Georgia Mae Hinson; brother, Willard Jones; and his precious grandchildren, Adam, Charity and Lydia Mugge. Family will greet friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Eau Gallie First Baptist Church with a memorial service to follow at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Willie's memory may be made to: : Florida Baptist Disaster Relief Fund, 1230 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, Fl. 32207.
