William Gene Thais(Bill) age 76 passed away on Wednesday March 11 ^th 2020. He was born June 8 ^th 1943 in Gallup New Mexico to Vera and James (Jimmy) Thais. William served in the United Stated Navy and then married his first wife Catherine Montoya. Giving birth with her two sons. William Gene Thais Jr and Brian Thais. He was a tire man then a tire salesman which led to his passion. Truck Driving. During this career William left Catherine for Pamala. He married her and they had many years together. He laid her to rest 2 years ago.  William pursued this career for 35 Years logging over 4 million SAFE miles. William even owned his own trucking company giving it his own distinctive name. Fresh2You. At one point even owning multiple trucks enjoying several years as a successful trucking company.  William retired from trucking and settled on Merritt Island Fl Where he befriended a remarkable friend Mary Johnston. Mary took care of him in so many ways, the Thais family is truly grateful for everything she did for him. William is survived  by 6 grandchildren, Lacy Jae, Joshua Alexander, Nichole Rene, Evelyn Marie, Simon Gabriel and Julie Ann. With 1 Great Granddaughter Catherine Anastaisha and 2 Step Great Grandchildren Leah Marie and Darrin JR. His life was as most are filled with happiness and sadness, but he tried to be a better man than he was at a younger age. William will be missed by many other friends and family. He was the last of his siblings but his legacy lives on with his children and Grandchildren. Rest in Peace OLD MAN.
