IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Michael
"Mike" Hall
August 23, 1945 – August 12, 2023
Wm. Michael "Mike" Hall, 77, of Melbourne, died Saturday, August 12, 2023, with his wife by his side.
He was born to the late Ruth Sullivan Hall and Wm. "Bill" Hall on August 23, 1945, in Omaha, Nebraska. Mike grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., a paradise in his words. He loved any water sport and frequented the beautiful reefs in the area. He attended St. Anthony's Catholic School and later graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 1964. He attended Broward Community College before entering the Air Force in 1966. Mike was a consummate football enthusiast, having played in high school, the Air Force, and for the company team at Lockheed Martin.
Upon his honorable discharge from the Air Force 408 MMS in 1970, he married his childhood sweetheart, Donna Keath of Ft. Lauderdale Fl. They lived in Longbeach, California for a time before returning to south Florida. Mike and Donna had 2 children, Jason Michael and Jacqueline Ann. They eventually moved to Colorado and lived there for over 30 years while he worked for Lockheed Martin Aerospace.
Mike was a lifelong Harley guy and enjoyed riding all over Colorado and Brevard County.
He also was a muscle car enthusiast, having owned many fast cars.
Mike is survived by his wife, Janet Farley Swinson-Hall, of Melbourne; his sister Ann Hall of N. Miami Beach; his son, Jason M. Hall of Los Angeles, California; his niece, Donna J. Roy, of Spruce Pine, N. Carolina; his step-daughter Elizabeth Swinson, of Palm Bay; and 2 adored grandchildren; and remaining members of his beloved 408 MMS Air Force group.
At his request, there will be no services other than a Catholic Funeral Mass to be offered September 16th at his parish Ascension Catholic Church.
He will be buried at Ft. Logan National Military cemetery with military honors in Denver, Colorado beside his wife Donna (d1998) and daughter Jacqueline (d1993).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. 1-800-822-6344
