He was a current resident of Palm Bay, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald and sister Marjorie. He is the last surviving child of his parents.

A 1955 graduate of Aliquippa High School Bill would become a Steamfitter at the Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Plant in Shippingport Pennsylvania, and later work on projects for NASA at Kennedy Space Center. He also assumed an active leadership role at his local union 47 in Monaca PA. Bill was also a U.S. Army Reserve veteran being stationed at Fort Lee Virginia after his unit was activated for the Cuban Missile Crisis. Bill had a zest for life and he and his beloved Janna enjoyed their dog Jazzy, traveling, dancing, nights at the Moose Lodge, daily devotions to God, and the company of their families.

Bill was proud of his children and grandchildren. He boasted about the incredible people they are. Additionally surviving are his beloved grandchildren; Evan Baker, William E Lytle, Kayla Lytle, and Emily Johnson.
