Werner "Vern" R. Treptau, 86, passed away on December 10, 2015 at his home in Satellite Beach, Florida.
He was born March 20, 1929 in Memel, Germany and had been a resident of Satellite Beach for 22 years, coming from Illinois.
Vern was the owner of Treptau Building Repair in McHenry, IL until his retirement in 1984. Following retirement, Vern took a love of yardwork and was awarded Best "Spruced up Yard" of Satellite Beach.
Vern leaves his memories to be cherished by his daughters, Monika (Chuck) Cannell and Vera Treptau, both of McHenry, IL; grandchildren, Christine (Trevor) Bupp and Alex Cannell and a great-granddaughter, Remi Bupp. He was predeceased by his wife, Ingeburg; daughter, Sonja Treptau and brother, Gerhard Treptau.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
