Obituary

Wauneta Fyvie, 98, of Melbourne, FL died Friday, October 4th with her family by her side.
Wauneta was born to the late Eugene and Wenonah Stallo on November 30th, 1920.  She served in the U.S. Navy in WWII, and married her late husband Harry Fyvie in 1946. Her husband was a member of the U. S. Air Force, and Wauneta was a devoted military wife/mother who moved  with her husband and children to numerous bases located in multiple  states.  In the winter of 1951, she boarded a former troop ship with two toddlers and an infant in tow to cross the North Atlantic to join her husband who was stationed in England.  After her husbands retirement from the Air Force, the family moved to Melbourne, FL in 1960.
Wauneta was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Her happy attitude, loyalty and selflessness earned her many friends.  To know her was to love her.
Wauneta is survived by her children Margaret Snyder; Mary Poalelungi, Kathleen Kenobi; and John Fyvie.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Sarah Bauer; Mary-Margaret Richter; and Jonathan Fyvie; her great grandsons Jason Bauer; Brett Bauer; Noah Richter; Rowan Richter and Finian Fyvie as well as by her favorite son-in-law Costas Poalelungi.
