Walter Eugene (Gene) Mizelle, 78 of Palm Bay, FL passed away December 20, 2021 in Melbourne, FL. Gene was born June 15, 1943 in Windsor, NC. He served in the United States Air Force from 1964 until 1968 when he was honorably discharged. After his military service Gene worked for Publix supermarket until 1980 when he returned to Patrick Air Force Base as a civilian employee. He retired in 2005 after 29 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents Delk and Bettie Sue Mizelle of Windsor, NC.

He is survived by his wife Libby of Palm Bay, FL, his son, Gene (Shannon) Mizelle Jr  of Palm Bay, FL, Daughter, Dede (Duane) Dietrich of Melbourne, FL, two special sons, David Matthew and Daniel Christopher Mizelle of Palm Bay, granddaughters, Paiton and Delaney Mizelle of Palm Bay.
