Walter James Baker, Jr., SMSGT, USAF (Ret.) 80, passed away on September 10th, 2013, in Palm Bay, FL. He was born in Pascoag, RI on November 5th, 1932 to the late Walter and Abbie Reilly-Baker. He was an dedicated man to our great nation and retired from the United States Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant. Walter has been a resident of Brevard County for 16 years coming from the Philippines, where he met his beloved wife, Evelyn. He was a life member of VFW post 1005 in Palm Bay, FL.
Walter is survived by his loving spouse of 16 years, Evelyn; sister, Ethel Couture and nephew, James Streeter.
A Celebration of Walter's Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne.
