Virginia N. Lauria, 101, of Melbourne, FL departed this life peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2014. She was born on September 3, 1912 in Manhattan, NY. She will be remembered as a lovable woman whom deeply appreciated the gift of life and lived it to the fullest. Mrs. Lauria was very much into gardening and crocheting in her earlier years and as she got less mobile, most of her time was spent caring for her bird. Precious memories will be cherished by her beloved grandchildren, Richard Lauria, Christine Lauria, Frank Lauria, Joe DiRusso (Lisa), Tom DiRusso (Lillian) and Steven DiRusso. Family will celebrate her life at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 20th at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, FL.
