VINCENT GRIMALDI, Melbourne's original "Candy Man", passed away Saturday, September 12 at 87 years of age.

Born in Sarno, Italy November 12, 1932, Vincent was the 10th of 11 generations of European confectioners.

Vincent and Anella, his loving wife of 55 years, started the original Grimaldi Candies in 1970, working side by side for many years.
Upon retirement Vincent remained very active.  He loved his family, traveled, gardened and was a fabulous chef.

Vincent Grimaldi is survived by his three children, Caroline, Frank, and Vinnie, as well as three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be at at Davis-Seawinds Funeral home, Thursday September 17 from 5:00-7:00pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Friday September 18, 11:00am.
