Victor Mercado, a widower of Melbourne, FL, passed away on Jan 17, 2022, at the young age of 71.  He was born in the Dominican Republic, as a teen, he moved to Massachusetts where he graduated High school, joined the National Guard, and then transferred to the Army.

Victor moved to the Melbourne area the last few years of serving in the Army. When he retired, he wanted to continue to work.  He worked 30 years for Glenn Tires Inc and his 2nd job at Walmart he did for 10 years!  Victor was the kind of man that truly cared for the people that came into his life. He was the Best Friend to have, one that would show up when called on, helped in any way he could, and would give you his last Dollar if you needed it. He did live a happy positive life; loving music, dancing, going to the movies, and being surrounded by Family and Friends!

During his mid 50's, Victor suffered kidney and congestive heart failure for over 10yrs. He was such a FIGHTER, that he surprisingly continued to dance and live his life to the norm as much as his body allowed.

Sadly, the last 5yrs became very tough for him. Victor's strong spirit and desire to live life to the fullest now came to an end. He is now with God, living life free of pain and no longer suffering. Victor gets to watch over all of us each and every day!

Victor leaves behind 3 sisters, 1 brother, 2 sons, 1 daughter, 5 grandkids, 1 great-granddaughter, and many many friends!
