He was born to the late Ernest and Lena Ullrich on May 22, 1933 in Union, New Jersey.  Vernon graduated from Union High School in 1951, and became a photoengraver, following in his father's footsteps.

Vernon is survived by his son Ernest C. Ullrich, of Union, New Jersey, and his beloved companion, Mary Ann Woznack of Melbourne, Florida, and her sons, Raymond D. Fenimore, Richard B. Rabkin, and John G. Woznack.

There is no visitation planned, according to Vernon's wishes.
