Palm Bay, FL - Thor Hugh Thorvaldson, 73, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Thor is survived by his wife Xiomara Ramirez Thorvaldson, and children Thor Jr., Katrina and Erik. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren Amanda, Jackson, Alex, Jillian, Benjamin, Joseph, Hailey, Lilian and Hayden as well as many nephews and nieces. Thor is preceded in death by his parents Sverre and Olga and siblings Bill and Dorothy. Thor was born in 1944 in Detroit, Michigan with his twin brother Bill and has lived in many different places, including Fort Wayne, Indiana, Columbia, South Carolina, Fort Smith, Arkansas and finally in Palm Bay, Florida. Thor was an Eagle Scout and proudly served in the United States Navy before meeting his future wife in Lake Worth, Florida. Thor was a loving husband, caring father, wonderful brother and friend and was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
