IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas D.
Knosky
April 19, 1941 – December 5, 2022
Thomas D. Knosky, 81, passed peacefully in his sleep at home on December 5, 2022 with his loving wife Elaine by his side.
Tom was born in Trenton, NJ on April 12, 1941 and was the son of Donald L and S. Jean Knosky. After graduating from Pennsbury High he began his career at Southland Corp. working as an engineer in store design and layout, opening up several 7-Elevens. In the early 70's, his entrepreneurial spirit and fun-loving social nature led him to open a bar, The Driftwood in Harrisburg. Over the years, Tom gained recognition in the convenience store and grocery store business working for various companies; Harrisburg Dairies, Empire Kosher, and ended his engineering career with the Scrivner Company. In his later years Tom decided to pursue a real estate career. He started at Homestead Realty Group and soon became known as the BPO King. He finished his career with RE/MAX before retiring and moving to Florida.
Friends and family remember Tom as good-natured, humorous, generous, and charismatic. He had a playful spirit but also kind heart and was a good provider. Tom taught us to live fully, laugh often, and enjoy life.
Surviving are his wife Elaine, sister Judy Hamlet and her children (Bryan, David, Jenny), his children Ricky K, Troy J, Tammy L Rice; and grandson Hunter.
