Susanne "Fran" (Wilson) Kammerdener
Passed away this Mother's Day at her home at age 78. Leaving a legacy of so much love for us to follow. Fran was born in Brooklyn NY, and resided in West Islip NY until moving to Melbourne FL in 1998 to be with her children and grandchildren.
Fran spent her life as a caregiver and fulltime volunteer. Her family always came first. She was the ultimate Grandma as they say she was "the bomb". Fran attended every event for all of her grandchildren traveling anywhere and everywhere they are. She was a beloved volunteer with many Ascension Catholic Church ministries, Health First Foundation, the King Center, as well as MPD Citizens Police Academy. As an avid NY Mets fan, she traveled to all their spring training games, a passion she shared with her grandchildren.
Fran is survived by her children: Patti (Kammerdener) Scardino, and Tom Kammerdener, Son in law George Scardino, Daughter in Law Kelly Kammerdener, Grandchildren: Brittany Scardino, Ryan Kammerdener, Cody Kammerdener, Chris Scardino and Kylie Scardino.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home, Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at Ascension Catholic Church at 11:30 AM.
