Stephanie Adrian Murray, 87, of West Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 21,2023, in hospice care.

She was born to parents John and Helen Bream on June 30, 1935, in Beaver Falls PA. Stephanie was raised in Harrisburg PA and graduated from Seton Hill College in Greensburg PA in 1957.

She married the late Noel Murray in 1962 and they lived and raised their children in Manassas VA. Stephanie is survived by two children: Adrian Dye and her husband, Allen, of Grant-Valkaria FL, and Sean Murray and his wife, Jennifer, of Belmont NC. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Joshua, Naomi, Gabriel, Sarah, Nathanael and Elijah Murray, and sister, Maya M. Sutton of Albuquerque, NM. Stephanie was predeceased by her loving husband in 1987 and her 3 year old granddaughter, Hope Murray, in 2016.

After graduating college with a degree in Home Economics, Stephanie taught for three years in Pennsylvania before moving to Washington DC where she worked in food service for the federal government. After the birth of her two children, Stephanie taught public school in Prince William County, Virginia for 25 years, spending the majority of time at Brentsville District High School.
After retiring, she relocated to West Melbourne FL and began to substitute teach for another 13 years, retiring again in 2018. Stephanie was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority in Virginia and Florida.

Stephanie, Teppie, Stevie, Aunt Stevie, Mama Steve, Mom Murray, Momaw are how she was known in life, reflecting different seasons and who she was: daughter, sister, wife, grandmother, friend and teacher.
