Sigrid Fields, 81, departed this life peacefully with her beloved family at her side on Monday, April 7, 2014. Sigrid was born on July 11th, 1932 in Stuttgart, Germany and was the child of the late Herman and Maria Metzger-Trittenbach. Sigrid has been a resident of Brevard County since 1984 coming from Bloomfield, New Jersey. Sigrid leaves memories to be cherished by her daughters, Patricia Saputo, Deborah Wright (David) and Rebecca Cloud; sisters, Edeltraud Kruger, Christa Willett and Margaret "Marga" Mazarella.
A Celebration of Sigrid's Life will be held 1p.m. on Sunday, May 4th at Pattie Saputo's home.
