Shirley Rose Robertson, 79, departed this life peacefully on Sunday, May 11th, 2014. She was born in Washington, DC on August 18, 1934 to the late George and Mary Humphries - Holt. Shirley relocated to Brevard County in 1979 with intentions to retire; however, she became a proud employee of a number of companies in the local area such as: Harris Corp., Holmes Regional Medical Center and Parking Enforcement for 25 years at the boardwalk in Indialantic. Shirley will be remembered as a strong willed and generous woman whom adored her family and was beloved by all. Shirley leaves memories to be cherished by her sons, Bobby Jones (Melanie), Aubrey Jones and Walter Robertson; grandchildren, Shannon, Brandon, Aubrey, Taylor, Nathan and Jenna; brother, George Holt; sister, Marlene Keys; nephews, David and Gary; niece, Darlene; 3 great-grandchildren and numerous grand nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends from 3p.m. to 4p.m. on Friday, May 16th at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home, Melbourne, following with a Celebration of Shirley's Life at 4p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Health First Hospice, 1900 Dairy Road, Melbourne, FL 32904.
