Shirley C. Clark, 93, entered into rest on February 27, 2014 in Melbourne, FL.
Born January 6, 1921 in Hamilton NY, Shirley was the daughter of the late Arthur and Irene Church. She lived in Central Bridge, NY from 1950-1965 with her husband at the Clark Funeral Home. She was active in the Methodist Church, was an accomplished seamstress, and enjoyed bowling while living in CB. They moved to Chestertown in 1965 where she worked at the Amsterdam Savings Bank and continued to work for the bank when they moved to Johnstown, NY around 1975. After retiring from the bank, she joined the Johnstown Senior Center and took lessons in painting in acrylics. She became very talented and sold her paintings at various art shows. She and her husband moved to Melbourne, FL in 2008 to be near their daughter, Sharon. They enjoyed 66 years of marriage.
Survivors include her cherished daughter, Sharon Malik, and several nephews and nieces.
She, along with her husband, Denman will be inurned at the Sloansville Valley Cemetery, NY at a later date. There will be a graveside service at that time.
