Born August 31, 1941 and passed away January 14, 2012. Sherry was the daughter of Claude and Ida Kniceley of Corley, WV. Sherry had four daughters, Dawn Robinson Shaver (husband Pat) of Charleston, WV; Cynthia Robinson Shuman (husband Chris) of Gassaway, WV; Pamela Robinson Larew (husband ...Dave) of Grafton, WV; and Billie Jo Mayes of West Melbourne, FL whom resided with her. Sherry also helped raise her two step children, Tom Mayes (wife Lisa) of Germany and Karen Mayes Gilreath (husband James) of West Melbourne, FL. Sherry is survived by the love of her life of 40 years; William C. "Bill" Mayes of West Melbourne, FL, her children, and the second love of her life her granddaughter Kaitlyn Sliker. Sherry is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and one great grandson due in April. Sherry enjoyed working in her flower garden, cooking, collecting dolphins, traveling and playing Mahjong. Sherry volunteered her time daily at the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge # 1406 cooking dinners, planning events, and helping out where ever she was asked. She served the Women of the Moose throughout the years and she belonged to the College of Regents. Sherry has visited Moose Heart and Moose Haven and volunteered her time to raise funds for both. At Mrs. Mayes' request her body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Moose Lodge on 157 Dayton Blvd. in West Melbourne, FL.
