Sharon I. Robertson, 70, of Melbourne Fl. departed this life on Tuesday, October 24th after a long and bravely fought battle with cancer. She is survived by her very devoted and loving companion, Ron Klemyk.

Sharon was born in Manchester Ct. on January 10, 1947, daughter to the late John and Isabel Reid. She grew up and raised her family in Manchester. Sharon graduated from Manchester High School in 1965 and then went on the Morse School of Business. She held several positions as an executive secretary including for the Travelers Insurance Company until leaving to raise her family. After many years at home, Sharon went to work for Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was part of the clerical staff in the department of nuclear medicine and later financial services. While in Florida Sharon worked for the state in the department of environmental protection.

Sharon is also survived by her son Michael Robertson and his wife Heidi Mitza of Wilmington Ma. and her son Seth Robertson and his partner Jen Stanhope of Manchester. Sharon was predeceased by her husband, Tom B. Robertson.

Sharon is also survived by her brother and sister in law, Jack and Debbie Reid of Groton Long Point, Ct. and her sister Marilyn Eastwood and husband Randy of Manchester as well as several nephews.

In honor of Sharon's wishes there will be no funeral services. Messages of condolence may be left on this website.
