IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sally Ann
Ryan
November 29, 1934 – April 16, 2025
Surrounded by loved ones, Sally Ryan of Satellite Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025, at the age of 90. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Bill, who had been patiently waiting for her.
Sally Ann Weber was born in New York on November 29, 1934, to Elsie Woods. She was later adopted by her father, Charlie Weber, and grew up with four siblings. At the age of 18, Sally met Bill Ryan, and the two married on August 26, 1956. Together, they raised their family in Woodside, New York, before moving to Satellite Beach, Florida, in 1971.
Sally was the devoted mother of four—Laura Clawson, Susan Garrett, Eileen Ryan, and Bill Ryan—and a loving grandmother to four grandchildren: Ryan Clawson, Zachary Garrett, Lacey Clawson, and Taylor Worst. She was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Davey, Abel, Nora, Parker, Lyanna, Liam, and Nolan, all of whom brought her immense joy.
In addition to her children and grandchildren, Sally is survived by her sister, Elizabeth, of New Jersey. She was predeceased by her brothers, Leon and Eddie, and her sister, Louise.
Sally found joy in simple pleasures—gardening, decorating, and engaging in all kinds of creative projects, particularly crafting with her children and grandchildren. She also had a love for puzzles and was an avid reader of true crime novels. After Bill's retirement, the couple frequently enjoyed cruises and trips to Biloxi, where Sally indulged in her love of playing the nickel slot machines.
Known for her compassionate, nurturing nature and her fun-loving spirit, Sally will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Sally's life will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow
