Obituary
Ruth VanMeeteren, 103, of Melbourne, Florida passed away on January 11, 2022.
Ruth was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Walter Statham, brothers and sisters, her husband Anthony VanMeeteren, and son James VanMeeteren. She is survived by her son Robert VanMeeteren and daughter Joyce Tuer and her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Ruth and her husband Tony moved to Florida in the 1950's from New Jersey. Ruth was very skilled in quilting and other handicrafts winning ribbons in state fairs for her work.
Funeral will be at Davis Seawinds January 25 at 11:00. Interment at cape canaveral national cemetery afterwards.
