Ruth M McCabe, 94 went to heaven on Friday, December 13, 2019

Ruth was from a large family of Irish Americans and was born in Brooklyn, New York to Nora and Thomas Conboy.

Ruth and her husband along with their three children moved from Long Island, New York to Melbourne Florida in 1960 as the Space Race was just beginning.  Ruth was a homemaker and loving mother to her three children, but later in life she became a Certified Nursing Assistant and cared for the elderly.

She was a charter member of Ascension Catholic Church and active in many ministries including Eucharistic minister, funeral choir, and adoration chapel.

She is survived by her children and their spouses - Lynn (Sam), Jerry (Linda) McCabe, Mariane (Larry) Brillante.  She also leaves her grandchildren – Bret (Kim) Brillante and Chad (Brittany) Brillante and great grandchild Leighton.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Ascension Catholic Church, Melbourne, FL. on December 30, 2019 at 11:00AM
