Ruth Cohen, 85, of Melbourne, passed away August 30, 2015 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, FL. She was born in New York and lived in New Jersey.

Ruth was a factory worker and a waitress. She moved to Marathon, NY where she then became a volunteer at the Maple Leaf Senior Center. She also volunteered at the Crane Creek Seniors in Melbourne during lunch. She lived with her daughter Irene before moving into Trinity Towers in Melbourne.

She is survived by her four children; two sons, Carl Phillip Cohen and Nathan Cohen; two daughters, Irene Tremblay (Cohen) and Barb Pendell (Cohen); four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She LOVED her friends at both senior centers and her parakeet named "Tweetie" (which was given a new home). She was a wonderful person and a WONDERFUL mother. She will be truly missed and was very much LOVED by all.
