Ruth Barcellona, 91 of Melbourne Florida passed away October 9, 2018 at the William Childs Hospice House.

Ruth was born in Karlshrue, Germany to the late Karl and Maria Kaufman on November 29, 1926. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her husband James Barcellona and her son, Kenneth Braun.

Ruth enjoyed traveling, gardening and cooking for her family and friends. Her special meal was spetzle and pot roast. She traveled the US and Europe, her favorite place was Hawaii with Jimmy. She was a strong believer in God, America and her history. Ruth although an immigrant and later a citizen became a Loan Supervisor in banking, she was a Realtor, and her and Jimmy owned and managed a motel on A1A in Deerfield Beach, FL. She believed in hard work and discipline.

She is survived by her daughters Marilyn Poswiatowski (Steve) of Melbourne FL, Karen Benson (Dick) of Rochester, NY, Tina Morrison (Rich) of Pensacola, FL and Dana Trama (Mark) of W Babylon, NY and her daughter-in-law Caryn Braun.

She was Oma to 12 grandchildren and Grosse Oma to 12 great grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by all of us.

A private memorial service will be held Friday November 9, 2018 at 2 PM at Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 560 Montreal Ave, Melbourne FL 32935.
