Ruby Lee Hall Leonard, 85, of Melbourne, went to heaven Thursday December 5th, 2019 with family by her side.

She was born to the late Lee and Mary Lou Hall on May 10, 1934 in Cleveland North Carolina. Ruby graduated from Boyden High School in 1952 and Salisbury Business College in 1953. She married the late Donald Lee Leonard in 1950, and remained married for 63 years until his passing in 2013.  They lived together in  the early part of their marriage in Aberdeen Maryland, before relocating to Melbourne, Florida in 1961. They shared the birth of 3 children.

Ruby worked as a homemaker and supported her husband and three children throughout their lives. She was an avid reader and worked in several used book stores where her love of books and reading gave her much happiness. She was an active member of the PTA throughout her children's schooling and was a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church.

Ruby is survived by her brothers Kenneth W Hall, Ronald and Donald Hall and her children and their spouses: Greg and Laurie Leonard of Melbourne, Mark and Simone Leonard of Woodstock Georgia, and Leslie and Ethan Bauer  of Melbourne, as well as  6  grandchildren: David Leonard, Drew Ogden, Joel Tamblyn, Danyal Nail, Tom Rossetter, and Amy Rossetter and 10 great grandchildern

A service in her honor is being held on Tuesday December 17th at 5:30 PM at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home.
