Ruben C. Phillips Sr age 75, Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 21, 2018 at his home in Merritt Island FL.  Ruben was born March 27, 1943 in New Jersey where he had 5 children ( Brenda, Dorothy, Ruby, Ruben Jr, Joyce) He later moved to Florida where his passion for cars allowed him to work as a mechanic for more than 25 years. During his time in Florida he met the love of his life and spent the past 15 years with Rochelle Blumenthal and her children ( Ryan, David, Michael, Erica, Richard, Joseph).  Ruben was known for his great attitude and his willingness to help everyone. Ruben truly lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasures, Chatting with friends and family and spending time watching the races on TV. Ruben always set himself as the example and put everyone before himself. Ruben will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
