Roxie (Dainty) Sally Perkins of Melbourne, FL passed away on June 24th, 2024 at the age of 93. Roxie has been a resident of Melbourne since 1958, along with her late husband Lloyd who passed away in 2013. The two of them loved each other in a 62 year marriage, raising their two sons Kent and Brett.

Roxie was a bright and fiery spirit, and she filled those around her with light and joy. She was 'tiny but mighty' and was very well loved by her family and friends. She worked most of her life as a pharmacy tech, was an active member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and volunteered in local schools.

Roxie in her later years fought fiercely with Alzheimer's. She captured the hearts of her caregivers through her willpower and resolve. Roxie fought Alzheimer's for over 8 years, able to maintain some degree of independence with the help of her family until the end.
Roxie is survived by her two sons Kent and Brett, younger brother David Sally and wife Mary Everlene, daughter-in-law Roungtip (Tip), her two grandchildren Alyssa and Nathan and many nieces and nephews.
