In loving memory of Rosha Golden Bell who passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Robertsdale Rehab and Healthcare Center, Robertsdale, AL, at the age of 88.
Mrs. Bell was born January 30, 1927 in Clay, KY where she lived until marrying the late William H. (Bill) Bell. They continued to live in Kentucky until Bill was transferred to Florida. For over 62 years, she was the devoted and loving house wife and foundation of their family. She had three children that she raised and taught the lessons of life through love of her church and values established as a charter member of Harbor City Baptist Church of Eau Gallie. Mrs. Bell lived in the Melbourne area for well over 50 years until health issues caused her to be moved to Robertsdale, AL.
Mrs. Bell had a life-long love for music and largely self-taught, became proficient enough with her piano to play publically at community functions and celebrations. For many years, she enjoyed working with and making country crafts and participated in many craft shows throughout the area.
Rosha is survived by her three children; son, Ronald (Sue) W. Bell of Palm Bay, FL and Clay, KY; daughter, Marilyn Crockett of Robertsdale, AL and the late Larry W. Crockett, and son, Donald F. (Dorothy) Bell of Charlotte, NC. Mrs. Bell, lovingly known as "Meme", had four granddaughters, Kista Zimmermann of Clermont, FL, Cheri Bass of San Antonio, TX, Renee Oishi of Hope Mills, NC and Ashley Kitchens of Greenville, SC. Mrs. Bell had seven great-granddaughters, one great-grandson, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon, October 9, 2015 at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home, 560 Montreal Avenue, Melbourne, FL. Services will start at 1pm followed by a burial at Florida Memorial Gardens, U.S. 1, Rockledge, FL.
