Rose B Mathers, 94, of Eau Gallie, Florida went home to heaven on November 14, 2015 to join the love of her life, James P Mathers. She was the daughter of John and Rose Balas. Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on August 13, 1921, she served in the Navy as a Wave where she met her husband James. They returned to Florida and opened Mathers' Bake Shop in Eau Gallie. The business has been open nearly 70 years. Throughout her life, she was active in the Eau Gallie Gardenette Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking delicious Hungarian meals, going to the beach, travelling and working in the bakery.

She is survived by her son, James I. (wife Linda) Mathers, of Orlando, Florida and daughter, Marcie Mathers (husband Clark) Nail of Melbourne, Florida. She had 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Irene Kish (husband Elmer) along with a nephew, Marc Kish (wife Loretta).
