Obituary

'Pops' was born in Tignish, Prince Edward Island, Canada on May 15th 1945.

Adopted by Andrew and Edith Kinch, his family then moved to St. John, New Brunswick, Canada.

His family came to the United States in 1949, and lived in Brookline, Massachusetts..

He was married to his first wife, Dolores Anne Pucci, in 1964. He and his growing family then moved to Norwood, Massachusetts.

They welcomed their first child, Joanne Mary Kinch in 1964, followed by their son, Paul Andrew, in 1968.

They moved from Norwood to Walpole in 1975, and remained there for 12 years.

He welcomed his son, Andrew Duffy, in 1985 while living in Onset.

He stayed in the area until he ultimately moved from Foxborough, Massachusetts to Melbourne Florida, with his forever love, Kathy Murphy. Their home was made complete by their dog, Snoopy, who they adored. They remained in the Melbourne community until present.

He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and then went on to become a diesel and hydraulic mechanic for his entire career. He also loved working at a local school in Melbourne as a janitor in his semi-retirement.

Pops had many talents, hobbies and interests, from painting to stained glass to gardening, and what was his latest project, his growing train set layout. This was his sanctuary where he spent many hours in their converted second bedroom.

He loved to camp and fish. He also loved skiing and took many trips to Vermont and New Hampshire.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kathy.

He is also survived by his son Paul, his wife AmyJane, and their children, Anthony and Mia. Also by his son Andrew, his wife Evan, and granddaughter, Clare.

His blood family was unknown to him, until they finally met in 1998. Although he grew up with his adoptive family as an only child, it turned out that he was the oldest of nine children, including his brother, David, and sisters Linda. Jean, Sue, Kelly, Carol, and Bev.

He remained close to his family in Canada until his passing. He is predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Edith Kinch, mother Fran Morehouse, brother Brian Barton, and beloved daughter, Joanne Kinch Cauteruccio.

A private family service will be held at a date to be determined.
