Ronald Joseph Griesmayer,75,  died on January 25, 2020 peacefully in his sleep.  Ronald was born in Bay City, Michigan on September 23, 1944 to parents, Joseph and Wanda Alleen Griesmayer.  Ron grew up in a small farm town; Unionville, Michigan, where he graduated from high school in 1962, he was in several school activities, including band.

He then attended college at Central Michigan receiving a BSBA in 1966 - MBA 1968, then Join the military, branch Army, awarded a certificate for the Army Commendation Medal  from the Department of the Army, as a  First Lieutenant  for the United States Army from December 1968- October 1970 receiving an honorable discharge.

He then went on with his career with The Government of the United States from June 1967- June 2002 for the next 35 years as a senior Auditor at Tacom in Warren, Michigan.  He received several awards during his career from the Commanding General and the White House, the President of United States; George W. Bush sent him a signed letter of congratulation and appreciation as a devoted Public Servant for Department of the Army for 35 years.

Ron enjoyed the disco era, he then found that he was drawn to Ballroom dancing and received trophies during annual dance competitions as well as taught classes.  He was a very interesting and kind man, with an amazing smile. Ron was extremely, intelligent and always had some great stories he would share. He enjoyed fishing and hunting as he would say in "God's country."

He then finished his retirement in  Brevard the Space Coast of Florida where he lived in Melbourne, Florida he had a fascination in history and space exploring, so he enjoyed many night launches, right from his backyard for the past 12 years, "Ron you have a better view now!"  His past time was spending time with love ones having a good fish fry, going out to dinner, reading, streaming online, relaxing at home with his beloved family for over 20 years,  leaving behind his best friend, Christine Blithe and his recent beloved pets Indy and Victoria. We love you and we will miss you so very much Ron, we know your now dancing around the sky.
