Roland Lee Orrison, 65, of Melbourne, Florida passed away Thursday May 1, 2014. He was born in Leesburg, Virginia to Frank and Katherine Orrison. Roland grew up in Urceville, Virginia and attended London Valley High School. He joined the Navy in 1968 earning four bronze stars and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal for his four tours in Vietnam.

Moving to Brevard County in 1976, he attended college at Brevard Community College and obtained two degrees, one being a Bachelors of Science and one in AC engineering. He then went on to start a family business in heating and air-conditioning called "Orrison Brothers Air & Heat".

Roland loved to golf, fish, and travel. He and Lisa and taken many trips to the Caribbean islands. He loved his farm and his pot belly pigs, dogs, horses, sheep, and chickens. Roland was also into fitness and body building and loved to work out at the gym to keep in shape. He also held a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Roland leaves memories to be cherished by his loving wife, Lisa Orrison; son, Roland Lee Orrison Jr.; sister, Charlotte O'Brien; brothers, Frank (Jean), Gerald (Lee), and Garry Orrison; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of Roland's life will take place at the Front Street Park in Melbourne, Florida on Thursday, May 15, 2014 between 5-8 p.m. where food and drinks will be served but due to facilities, guests are encouraged to bring additional refreshments
