Roger U. Wieseler, age 75, of Melbourne, Florida, formally of Sioux City, IA, passed away July 9, 2021 at the Viera Hospital in Melbourne, FL.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Sioux City, IA on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 12:30 p.m.  Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Church.  A dinner will be served following the service.  Another service will be held at Advent Lutheran Church in Melbourne, FL on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 3:30 p.m.  Burial will be at a later date in the prayer garden at Advent Lutheran Church.

Roger was born at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD on August 7, 1945. He was the son of a set of twins born to Anton and Laura (Kathol) Wieseler of Wynot, NE. He was a graduate of St. Heart High School in Emerson, NE in 1964.

He married Pamela Hingst Mattison on January 17, 1970.  They were able to spend 51 years of marriage together.

Roger's greatest joys were "his boys" and his service to the Church.  A close second was his love of golf and Nebraska sports.  He was proud to be a Veteran and his 34 years of service at Overhead Door Company.  He was a quiet person but was always there to lend a helping hand or figure out how some new device was made.

He is survived by his wife, Pam, and his three boys;  Randy Mattison (Susan) of Omaha, Nebraska, Brent Mattison (Tina), of Sioux City, Iowa, and Jason Wieseler (Pam) of Melbourne, FL;  7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; one brother Melvin (Kathy) Wieseler, of Sioux City, Iowa and two sisters, Ruth(Gene) Larson of Sartell, Minnesota and Romana Hillsinger of Walthill, Nebraska.

He is preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Gilbert, Ralph, Donald, Duane, Vernon, Roman, and Anthony; and four sisters Joan Kellen, Geraldine Wieseler ,Loretta Windmeyer, and Annette Discus.
