Robert Paul Zielinski

Robert Zielinski of Melbourne passed away on July 3, 2013 at the age of 82. He was born in Lyons, Illinois on April 27, 1931. A Korean War era veteran, Bob was a long time member of VFW Post 4206 where he held officer positions.

After honorable discharge from the Air Force, Bob attended the University of Florida receiving a Bachelor's degree in Education. He taught History and Geography at Eau Gallie High School.

Bob is predeceased by his father and mother, Leo and Frances Zielinski and by his sister Anna and brothers Ed, Ray and Ralph. "Uncle Bob" is survived by many nephews, nieces and grand nephews and nieces.

A mass will be celebrated in Bob's memory on July 24th at 8:15 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church located at 1626 Oak Street in Melbourne. There will be a memorial service at VFW Post 4206 later that day. Interment will be at Hills of Rest cemetery in Floral City, FL. In lieu of flowers, a donations may be made to a memorial fund established with VFW Post 4206, 3201 Dairy Road, Melbourne, FL 32904.
