Robert L. Purden Jr. was born May 5, 1961 in Sarasota, Fl.  He is survived by his parents Isabelle E. (Kurjack) Purden and Robert L. Purden Sr., brother Gregory B. Purden (Renee), sister, Elizabeth Mancuso (John), and brother Yancy B. Purden.  Grandmother Viola Kearns.  Nieces Sierra and Marisa, nephews Austin, Blake, Zachary and Zane. He also has an extended family in Melbourne and cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles from Cortez, Fl. His daughters were truly the light in his life.  Daughter Brittney Darlene (Stephen), grandson Carter and daughter Ashley Nicole, grandsons Miles and Riley.

Robb was an artist, dreamer and free spirit.  He loved the ocean, growing up surfing and beach bumming on the shores of Melbourne and Cortez, Florida.  Robb was an accomplished Boy Scout earning scouting's highest honor of Eagle Scout, Troop 338 Randolph AFB, Texas.

Robb had many occupations over the years working in the marine industry, computer assembly, inventory specialist and most recently retired as an interstate truck driver. Though Robb had many jobs, titles and positions his most coveted role was being a Dad and Grandfather.

Robb's love for his family was unconditional.  He was a gentle soul who always had a song in his heart.  Robb spent the past several years caring for his parents in their home in Palm Bay.  He will be terribly missed by his family and friends.
