Robert Lewis Plemmons, 54, of Melbourne, joined his Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 9, 2013. Born on Wednesday, May 28, 1958 in Mobile, Alabama, Robert was the child of the late Carl H. and Agnes M. Johnson-Plemmons.

He worked as a technician in civil engineering. Lewis appreciated the outdoors, especially fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was a proud member of ABATE chapter 1 and also enjoyed participating in the Toys for Tots Toy Run. He will be truly missed.

He is survived be his beloved wife, Janet; daughter, Trisha M. Ham-Plemmons and her husband, Jaramey; son, Robert (Amanda) Plemmons II; sisters, Linda Dees and Martha Flowers; cherished grandchildren, Jaramey II, Zander, Lucas, Conner and Mackenzie; and his extended family, Jimmy, Mary, Monte, Daryl and Donleen.

Lewis was predeceased by his admired step-father, JB; brothers, Larry Beckham and Kenneth Plemmons; sister, Barbara Plemmons.

A Celebration of Lewis's Life will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Eau Gallie First Baptist Church in Melbourne.
