Robert Emil Najemnik of Rockledge, FL 68 passed away May 21, 2017. Born in 1949, Illinois, he was the son of Emil Najemnik and the late Elizabeth (Betty) Najemnik. He is survived by his brother Donald Najemnik and wife Jennifer Najemnik, niece Lindsey Zabriskie and husband Neil Zabriskie and their daughter Capri Zabriskie and nephew Matthew Najemnik. He graduated from Riverside-Brookfield Township High School, Riverside IL in 1967, graduated from University of Illinois Chicago in 1971 with a BS degree and graduated from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL with a MS degree in 1973. Robert was employed at Motorola Corporation World Headquarters in Schaumberg, IL as a computer programmer for approximately 20 years. In 1996, Robert moved to Florida to be closer to family. He worked for several years for IBM in Tampa, FL.
Robert enjoyed travel as time allowed. He even took up snow skiing to make the best of the cold winter months up in the northern Midwest. He was an avid reader and was particularly fond of current events, business, and science periodicals.

A Memorial Service will be at Faith Viera Lutheran Church, 5550 Faith Drive, Rockledge, FL on Saturday, June 3rd, 11:00 am followed by a reception at the Church. Burial will be private.
