Robert L Goodspeed of Melbourne Florida passed away peacefully July 20, 2021 under the care of Health First Hospice. Bob graduated from the University of Miami with a Masters Degree in education. Bob retired from the Ausable Valley School as the Guidance Counselor for circa 30 years. He was also a golf course superintendent at Bluff Point Golf Course in Plattsburgh, NY. Bob being an avid golfer, loved to tell the tales of his many years on and off the many courses he enjoyed with his golfing buddies. Bob moved to Melbourne Florida in 2008 with his partner of several years Kathy Gagnon formerly of Keene, NY. Bob joined the Patrick Airforce Base golf Association and the traveling SRB group of golfers.  In earlier  years he had an interest in stock car  and modified car racing and was a member of a couple of Bobsled teams from the Adirondacks.

He was  predeceased by his his wife and golf partner Lois Goodspeed, his Mother Ellen Kelly, dad Kenneth Goodspeed of Elizabethtown, NY.

He had two stepchildren Nancy Murray of Morrisonville and Doug Worster of Beekmantown and four granddaughters.

There will be no church service, however, Bob would love all his cronies to tip their glass and remember all the "good ole times". Cheers!
