Robert Michael Foster(75), of Melbourne, Florida, passed away on January 16, 2024, after a brief illness. Robert was born on June 8, 1948, in The Bronx, NY. His family relocated to Whitestone, Queens, NY, when he was 9 years old. He enjoyed his childhood there, with many friends. He was personable, smart and a good, loving son to his parents, Louis and Eva, and brother to Suzanne.

Robert attended Dowling College, and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. He worked for Grumman Aerospace as a Procurement Specialist until he was diagnosed with MS.

Robert married his wife, Janet, in April 1971.They raised 2 children on Long Island.

Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, his daughter Jodie and son Greg (Laura), and three grandchildren: Christopher, Autumn and Dylan, and by his sister, Suzanne.

Robert will be missed by so many. He was a good-natured, loving, supportive, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

A funeral mass is scheduled for February 1, 2024 at 11 AM at Ascension Catholic Church, Melbourne, Florida.
