Rick L. Myers, of Palm Bay, FL., 71, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, FL.

Rick was born October 2, 1947 in York, PA. He was the son of the late Lawrence W. Myers, and the late Marie Tomes.

He was a Navy Veteran serving in the Vietnam War as a helicopter search and rescue crew chief. Rick retired from M&M Mars, Inc. in ` Elizabethtown PA.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jeannie, a stepbrother, Charles Shambaugh of Idaho, a stepdaughter, Kristine Herman of Barefoot Bay, FL, four grandchildren; Kasi Herman of Barefoot Bay, FL, Jeffery Bourne of Marietta, PA, Katie (Guy) Herman of Lancaster, PA and Zachary Bourne of Palm Bay, FL as well as five great grandchildren; Vincent Bourne of Marietta, PA, Hunter Bourne of Marietta, PA, Nicholas Herman of Lancaster, PA, Karalissa Herman of Lancaster, PA and Christian Herman of Lancaster, PA. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Tammy Bourne and a stepson, Stephen Rice Jr.

A memorial service honoring Rick's life will be held at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home, 560 Montreal Ave, Melbourne, FL on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Pkwy, Palm Bay, FL 32907.
