Richard Charles Stenger, 56, of Palm Bay Florida, died Saturday, June 2 in the comfort of his home.
Richard was born to Wilfred and Bernice Stenger on May 5 1962 in Malden Missouri.
He graduated from St Louis Preparatory High School in 1980.
Proceeding him in death is his father Wilfred C Stenger and his sister Angela Rose Stenger. He is survived by his wife Elaine Stenger (Scarlett) of Palm Bay Florida, step son Jason D. Songer of Orlando Florida, step daughter Sara E. Songer of Rockledge Florida,
his mother Bernice A Stenger (Eaton) of Perryville MO. His sister Betty (Tracey) Tiethoff of Jefferson City MO. His sister Mary Jo (David) Bammel of Perryville MO.
and his brother Tobias (Donna) Stenger of Bonne Terre MO.
Richard was wed to Martha Elaine Scarlett in 1988. They lived in the DeSoto Mo. area until 2003. They relocated to Florida and resided in Port St. John and Indian Harbor Beach before buying their home in Palm Bay. Richard and Elaine had a passion for the outdoors and spent much of their time camping, fishing, and walking trails. Richard had a love of Photography and has taken and printed many wonderful pictures of Florida wildlife.
Richard worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 5 years and then worked as a mechanical contractor working for the family business  Wil & Bea Service of DeSoto MO. and finishing his career with B&K Mechanical in Palm Bay Florida.
A memorial will be held at the De Soto Community Center in De Soto MO. on June 15 2018 from 4 pm to 7 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the preservation for Florida wildlife.
