In Loving Memory of Richard Newell Hall (July 24, 1943 - November 12, 2023)

Richard Newell Hall, a cherished husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and accomplished professional, passed away on November 12, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and lifelong friendships.

Rick was born on July 24, 1943, in Plymouth, NH to Lewis and Gladys Hall. He graduated from Stevens High School in Claremont NH and later joined the Coast Guard.

Rick's life was enriched by the love and companionship of his beloved wife of 56 years, Susan Hall, with whom he shared countless cherished memories, enduring devotion and a successful business. Together, they weathered life's joys and challenges, building a strong and loving partnership that served as the foundation of their family.

Rick was the proud father of three children, Shannon Reinighaus, Deborah Miller, and David Hall who rarely heard his voice rise in anything but laughter. His warmth defined him, most notably his inability to tell his daughters "no" when they came home with the latest animal needing a forever home.

As a dedicated father, Rick had all the familiar habits that children learn to find endearing. Always up to play poker with the family, it didn't typically take long for him to claim he'd never seen such bad cards. However, a handful of M&Ms or a scoop of ice cream was usually enough for the disappointment to melt away. A boyish love for technology followed Rick through fatherhood, enjoying being the first one on the block with the latest gadget, such as the newest RCA video camera allowing him to record the kids meeting Goofy at Disney, or the remote control boat he enjoyed racing in the pool.

Richard was also blessed to be the proud grandfather of six grandchildren, (Drew Miller, Emily Reinighaus, Cole Reinighaus, Mick Hall, Brennan Hall and Colleen Hall,) who brought him much joy.

Professionally, Rick excelled in his career at Indian Head Bank in New Hampshire, before his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish a thriving business in Melbourne, Florida. He opened Big Red Q Quick Print Center with his wife, Susan, which later became Action Quick Print. Through their hard work, determination, and passion, he built a respected long-standing local business that served the community with excellence and professionalism until retiring in 2018.

Rick will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His warmth, kindness, humor and love will forever remain in our hearts. May his soul find eternal peace, and may we find solace in the precious memories we shared with him.

Although no formal funeral services will be held at this time, his family will honor his memory with a small celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
