Richard L. Frye, 63, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023.

Born on December 12, 1959 to Hilda (Tamm) and Ulysses D Frye, Richard grew up in Melbourne, Florida. He relocated to Orlando and worked several years at Walt Disney World. Upon moving back to Melbourne, he worked for Rockwell Collins until his retirement.

Richard was a member of a large online gaming community and had a hand in the development and testing of several major games. He was well respected among his peers and truly loved the community.

He is survived by his brothers, Tony Frye and John Frye, as well as nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home located at 560 Montreal Avenue, Melbourne, Florida on Saturday, October 7, 2023. We'll be in the chapel at 10:30am. Please bring your stories and memories about Richard that you can share with us. Please dress casual as anything else just wouldn't be Richard.
