Richard James Clouser, passed away at home, after a lengthy illness on April 28th 2017. He was born on December 17th 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Lester and Charlotte Borgstead) Clouser. He graduated High School in Euclid, Ohio and went on to serve in the U.S. army during the war, in Korea from 1951-1953.
Dick married Pauline in 1955 and had six children. Karen, Rick, Mark, Dale, Scot & Connie. In 1978 the entire family moved to Melbourne, Florida where he opened an auto repair shop, and Clouser Automotive is still in business today He lost his wife Pauline and mother to his six children from Cancer, after 41 wonderful years of marriage in 1996. In 1997 Dick reunited with his high school sweetheart, Alberta Noda, and they had been together ever since.
Dick is survived by his sister Joanne, brother John, his children, Karen, Rick (and his wife Michelle), Mark and Connie, nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. He was father of the late Scot and Dale Clouser.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers we would like donations made to Vitas Hospice and would like to thank them for the wonderful care provided to "Pops" over the last several weeks.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 6:00pm in the DAVIS SEAWINDS Funeral Home, 560 Montreal Avenue, Melbourne. Military honors will be bestowed following the conclusion of the service. Burial will be private.
