Richard A. Anderson, 74, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Sunday, January 26, 2014 in Melbourne Beach. Richard was born on December 23, 1939 in Pawtucket, RI and was the beloved son of the late Roy and Ethel Grainger - Anderson. He was the youngest out of their two children. He will be remembered as a humble, lovable man whom appreciated the gift of life. He retired as a journeyman electrician and relocated to the beautiful sunshine state in 2004 coming from East Greenwich, RI. Richard enjoyed the warmer climate and spent most of his golden years fishing, golfing, boating and playing tennis. He was a man of faith and attended Immaculate Conception in Melbourne Beach. Richard was also a member of the Beer League in Brevard County. Richard leaves memories to be cherished by his loving wife of 48 years, Marguerite; children, Greg (Cristine), Paul and Brian (Jennifer) Anderson; 4 adoring grandchildren and many friends. He will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.
Family will greet friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, January 31st at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne with a Celebration of Richards Life to follow at 3 p.m.
