MELBOURNE - Richard Allchin, age 82 , died peacefully on March 9th, 2018 at Holmes Regional Medical Center with his wife Pearl, stepson Alan, and grandson Paul by his side.

Richard proudly served in the US Air Force from 1955 until his retirement in 1975. After his retirement he worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Pearl Allchin. Two siblings; Robert Allchin and Julius Allchin. Four children; Richard Allchin, Jr., Jennie Mae Braziel, John Allchin, and Julie Kuncz. Four stepchildren; Paul Mitchell, Larry Mitchell, Alan Mitchell, and Mark Mitchell. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 am- 11 am followed by funeral services at 11 am at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 14th. Burial will follow at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL.
